Acotiamide (Akofide) 100 mg 100 tab.
The drug is used to treat dispersion (bloating).
Active substance: acotiamide, which belongs to a group of drugs called gastrointestinal motility stimulants.
Based on the data provided by the manufacturer, it is concluded that the drug is effective in the treatment of
postprandial overflow, bloating and early satiation in patients with functional
dyspepsia has been demonstrated.
Indications:
Fullness after eating, bloating and early
feeling of satiety in patients with functional dyspepsia
Method of administration and dosage:
The usual dose for adults is 100 mg of acotiamide hydrochloride.
Hydrate is administered orally three times a day before meals.
By suppressing the activity of an enzyme called acetylcholinesterase, acotiamide enhances gastric motility (automatic movements necessary to move food through the digestive tract) and accelerates the process of emptying the stomach.
The drug is intended for adults only. It is not recommended during pregnancy and lactation.
