Product description

Enstilar is a two-component dermal foam developed by LEO Pharma. It combines calcipotriol, a vitamin D3 analogue that normalizes skin cell maturation, with betamethasone dipropionate, a potent corticosteroid that reduces inflammation and itching.

The foam format allows easy application to both body and scalp and ensures even distribution without greasy residue.

Indications

• plaque psoriasis (psoriasis vulgaris) in adults, including scalp involvement
• as topical therapy prescribed by a physician

Dosage and administration

Apply once daily to the affected skin areas. The canister should be shaken before use and held upright during application. The usual course is up to 4 weeks; further use is determined by the physician.

Maximum weekly dose should not exceed 15 g (up to 30 g under medical supervision per protocol). Wash hands after application.

Contraindications

• hypersensitivity to calcipotriol, betamethasone or any component of the product
• disorders of calcium metabolism
• guttate, erythrodermic, exfoliative and pustular psoriasis
• children under 18 years

Storage conditions

Store upright at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C. Do not refrigerate. The canister is flammable: keep away from fire and do not puncture. Keep out of reach of children.
