General Description

Estraval Depot® is an injectable preparation containing estradiol valerate (Estradiol Valerate Injection USP) 10 mg/ml. It is a depot formulation designed for intramuscular administration with prolonged release of the active substance. Used in hormone therapy to treat estrogen deficiency conditions.

Solution for intramuscular injection
Strength: 10 mg/ml
Pack size: 10 ampoules × 1 ml

Composition

Each 1 ml contains:

• Estradiol valerate — 10 mg
• Excipients (oil-based solution)

Indications

• hormone replacement therapy (HRT) in estrogen deficiency
• menopausal and postmenopausal symptoms
• menstrual cycle disorders and hypoestrogenic conditions
• other indications as prescribed

Administration

Administered by deep intramuscular injection. Dosage and treatment regimen should be determined individually by a healthcare professional.

Contraindications

• hormone-dependent tumors
• thromboembolic disorders
• severe liver disease
• hypersensitivity to components

Possible Side Effects

Headache, breast tenderness, fluid retention, mood changes, rarely thrombotic events.
