Heviran Comfort Max is designed for adults.
Composition
The active substance of the drug is acyclovir (
Aciclovirum
).

Tablets should be swallowed with water.
During treatment with Heviran Comfort Max, you should consume a large amount of fluids to reduce the risk of side effects.
The dosage of Heviran Comfort Max in adults is 1 tablet 2 times a day at 12-hour intervals.
Without consulting a doctor, the drug can be used for a maximum of 1 month, especially during the period of exposure to factors that cause relapses of herpes (for example, increased exposure to sunlight, stress, fever).
Action
Heviran Comfort Max contains Acyclovir, which has an antiviral effect, which consists in suppressing the reproduction of
herpes
viruses that are pathogenic to humans.
Indications
Heviran Comfort MAX is used to prevent the recurrence of herpes simplex in immunocompetent adults.
Heviran Comfort MAX can only be used in patients who have been diagnosed with a history of herpes simplex virus infection.
Contraindications
Do not use Heviran Comfort Max in people who are allergic to acyclovir, valacyclovir, or any of the other components of this medicine.
Side effects
Like any medication, this medication can cause side effects, although not everyone has them.
Common side effects (1 to 10 out of 100 people): headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, itching, rash (including from photosensitivity), fatigue, fever.
Unusual side effects (from 1 to 10 per 1000 people): hives, accelerated, disseminated hair loss - may be associated with many diseases and the use of many medications, its relationship with the action of acyclovir is not determined.
Rare side effects (from 1 to 10 per 10,000 people): shortness of breath, angioedema, anaphylactic reaction (often manifested by pruritus, urticaria, shortness of breath, decreased blood pressure, rapid heartbeat), increased blood creatinine and urea levels (substances that indicate kidney function), transient increase in liver enzymes and serum bilirubin (substances that indicate liver function).
Very rare side effects (less than 1 in 10,000 people): agitation, tremor, impaired coordination of movement (ataxia) and speech, confusion, hallucinations, psychotic symptoms, brain damage (encephalopathy), seizures, drowsiness, coma, hepatitis and jaundice, acute kidney failure, back pain kidney problems (if you experience bruising, red or purple spots on your skin for an unexplained reason, tell your doctor, a decrease in white blood cell count, or anemia (anemia).
Warnings and precautions
Please consult your doctor or pharmacist before using Heviran Comfort if: : you have kidney failure, you use other medications that can damage your kidneys, you are an elderly person (over 65 years old), you have reduced immunity (for example, after a transplant), you have a particularly severe recurrent herpes on the lips, the patient noted that herpes occurs more often (more than 6 per year) and lasts longer (after 5 days of therapy there are no positive effects of treatment) than previous relapses, with more pronounced clinical manifestations (m.in. after 3-4 days of therapy, new foci of infection appear).
When using the drug, it is recommended to consume a large amount of fluids, which will help prevent kidney damage.
The drug should be stored in an invisible and inaccessible place for children. Store at temperatures below 25°C.
Store in the original packaging to protect from light.
