Klimycin hard capsules belong to a group of antibiotics from the lincosamide group used to treat infections.
Composition
The active substance of the drug is clinadimycna,
One capsule contains 300 mg of clindamycin (Clindamycinum) in the form of clindamycin hydrochloride.
Excipients: lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, talc, gel-like corn starch. Shell: gelatin, titanium dioxide (E 171), iron oxide yellow (E 172), iron oxide red (E 172), iron oxide black (E 172).
Dosage

Capsules should be taken with a glass of water.
Action
Climicin works by suppressing growth and destroying bacteria that can cause infections.
Indications
Climicin is indicated for the treatment of: respiratory infections caused by anaerobic bacteria, Streptococcus pneumoniae and other streptococci and Staphylococcus aureus; skin and soft tissue infections caused by Streptococcus pyogenes, Staphylococcus aureus and anaerobic bacteria; bone and joint infections caused by Staphylococcus aureus; sepsis caused by Staphylococcus aureus; intra-abdominal infections caused by Staphylococcus aureus which cause anaerobic bacteria; infections of the female genital organs caused by anaerobic bacteria.
Contraindications
The drug should not be used in case of hypersensitivity to any component of the drug.
Side effects
Like any medicine, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everyone has them.
Side effects that occur very often (they may occur more often than in 1 in 10 people): hypersensitivity reactions with rash, diarrhea, esophagitis, vomiting, abdominal pain, nausea.
Side effects that occur frequently (they may occur less frequently than in 1 in 10 people): pseudomembranous colitis, changes in the number of certain blood cells, i.e. complete or almost complete absence of granulocytes (agranulocytosis), decrease in the number of leukocytes (leukopenia), decrease in the number of neutrophils (neutropenia), decrease in the number of platelets (thrombocytopenia), an increase in the number of eosinophils (eosinophilia), maculopapular rash, urticaria, abnormal results of liver function tests.

Warnings and precautions
Before taking the drug, caution should be exercised and discussed with a doctor if the patient has: a history of allergic reactions, especially severe; has an allergy to penicillin; uses Climicin for a long time, and the patient has diarrhea or changes in the mucous membranes of the mouth and / or vagina, which may indicate superinfection with resistant microbes to this medicine; he has been diagnosed with stomach and intestinal disease (celiac disease, intestinal diverticulosis, Crohn's disease, colitis) or AIDS; during or after treatment, he has diarrhea (the use of almost any of the antibiotics can cause pseudomembranous colitis and diarrhea caused by Clostridium difficile, from mild diarrhea to life-threatening colitis, drugs that suppress intestinal motility should not be used; he has meningitis; he has severe renal failure or liver disease; he was diagnosed with a disease occurring with disorders of neuromuscular conduction (for example, myasthenia gravis, Parkinson's disease).
The drug contains lactose.
The drug should be stored in a place invisible and inaccessible to children at temperatures below 25 °C.
Use of other medicines
Tell your doctor or pharmacist about all the medications you are currently or recently taking, as well as the medications you plan to take, including those that are available without a prescription.
Information is especially important if you use: macrolide antibiotics (for example, erythromycin) or chloramphenicol; drugs that suppress intestinal movements (peristalsis); gentamicin (antibacterial drug); primachine (drug used to treat malaria); trovafloxacin (antibacterial drug); Levofloxacin (antibacterial drug); warfarin and similar drugs, used to dilute blood. Their simultaneous use with clindamycin may lead to a greater tendency to bleeding. The doctor may consider it necessary to conduct regular blood clotting tests.
Pregnancy and breast-feeding
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, assume that she may be pregnant, or when she plans to have a baby, she should consult a doctor or pharmacist before using this medicine.
