Composition

Each ampoule contains:

• Dexamethasone 21-palmitate — a long-acting corticosteroid
  Excipients: lipid emulsion base.

Pharmacological action

Lipotalon® is a long-acting glucocorticoid intended for local and intra-articular injection. It provides strong anti-inflammatory, anti-edematous, and analgesic effects. The lipophilic formulation allows slow release of the active substance, ensuring prolonged therapeutic action.

Indications

• Inflammatory activated osteoarthritis
• Epicondylitis humeri (tennis elbow)
• Inflammatory joint and periarticular disorders
• Bursitis and tendinitis
• Local inflammatory musculoskeletal conditions

Dosage and administration

Administered intra-articularly, periarticularly, or locally.
Dosage and injection frequency are determined individually by a qualified healthcare professional.

Contraindications

• Hypersensitivity to dexamethasone or any component
• Infection at the injection site
• Systemic fungal infections
• Pregnancy and breastfeeding (unless strictly indicated)

Side effects

• Systemic corticosteroid effects if overdosed
