Dosage/Method of application

Your dosing schedule should be set by your doctor or healthcare professional.

・If you have not taken levodopa yet: as a rule, adults should take 1 to 3 tablets in 1-3 doses per day after meals on the first day. Gradually increase the dose by 1-2 tablets per day every 2-3 days. The maintenance dose is from 3 to 6 tablets per day.

・If you are taking levodopa now: as a rule, for adults, take levodopa on the first day, equivalent to about 1/5 of the daily dose that you take (this medicine contains 100 mg of levodopa in 1 tablet). From 1 to 3 divided doses per day after meals. After that, gradually increase or decrease the amount of this medicine. The maintenance dose is from 3 to 6 tablets per day.

・The dosage should be adjusted according to your age and symptoms. Follow the instructions strictly.

・If you miss a dose, take the missed dose as soon as possible. If it's almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your usual dosing schedule. You should never take two doses at a time.

・If you accidentally take a dose higher than prescribed, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

・Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor has instructed you to do so.

Precautions when taking this medicine

This medicine can cause sudden and temporary drowsiness, decreased attention, or decreased reflex speed. Do not drive a car, do not work at height and do not work with dangerous machinery.
