Description
Mucosta® is a gastroprotective medication used for the treatment and prevention of gastric mucosal damage. Rebamipide enhances the stomach’s natural defense mechanisms by increasing prostaglandin production, improving mucosal blood flow, and promoting tissue regeneration.
It is widely prescribed for gastritis, gastric ulcers, and mucosal injury associated with NSAID use.
Indications
- Acute and chronic gastritis
- Gastric ulcer
- Erosive gastric lesions
- Prevention of NSAID-induced gastric damage
Dosage and Administration
The usual adult dose is 100 mg three times daily after meals, or as prescribed by a physician.
