Contraindications to use
Do not use Romazik if:
You are allergic to rosuvastatin or any other component of the drug.
You are pregnant or breastfeeding.
If you become pregnant during treatment, stop taking the drug immediately and consult a doctor. Women should use reliable methods of contraception while taking Romazik.
If you have liver disease.
If you have severe kidney disease.
If you experience repeated or unexplained muscle pain.
If you are taking cyclosporine (usually used after organ transplantation).
Do not take a dose of 40 mg if:
You have moderate renal impairment (check with your doctor).
Your thyroid gland is not functioning properly.
You are experiencing recurrent or unexplained muscle pain, or you or your family have had muscle diseases.
You regularly consume large amounts of alcohol.
You are of Asian descent (Japanese, Chinese, Filipino, Vietnamese, Korean or Indian).
You are taking other cholesterol-lowering medications called fibrates.
