Dosage Form

Transdermal gel for topical use

Strength

16.2 mg of testosterone per gram of gel

Composition

Each gram of gel contains 16.2 mg testosterone.
Excipients include ethanol, carbomer, isopropyl myristate, purified water, and other inactive ingredients.

Pharmacotherapeutic Group

Androgens. Testosterone preparations.

Indications

Testogel® is indicated for testosterone replacement therapy in adult men with confirmed hypogonadism, including:

• primary hypogonadism
• secondary hypogonadism
• clinical symptoms of testosterone deficiency confirmed by laboratory testing

Method of Administration and Dosage

For cutaneous use only.
Applied once daily, preferably in the morning, to clean, dry skin of the shoulders, upper arms, or abdomen.
Dosage is individualized and adjusted based on serum testosterone levels.

Contraindications

• known or suspected prostate or breast cancer in men
• hypersensitivity to testosterone or any excipient
• use in women and children

Special Warnings

• For use in men only
• Avoid skin-to-skin contact with others until the gel has fully dried
• Regular medical monitoring is required during therapy
