A remedy for use in dermatology: ointment for external use in a tube of 30 g.

structure

A mixture of sesame oil, Cortex Phellodendri powder, Radix Scutellaria powder, Rhizoma Coptidis powder, Pheretima Aspergillum powder; peanut butter (pressed); beeswax; alpha-tocopheryl acetate.

mechanism of action

The herbal components of the ointment contain flavonoids, phytosterols, alkaloids, glycosides and amino acids. They activate regeneration processes, have antipruritic, anti-inflammatory, antifungal and antibacterial effects.

Baikal skullcap (Scutellaria baicalensis). Flavonoids and glycosides, which are part of the Baikal skullcap, have anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial effects; enhance the regenerative properties of the skin; have an antiallergic effect, reduce the formation of histamine, which causes inflammatory vascular reactions in the skin; have mild whitening properties, have a protective effect against UV radiation.

Amur velvet (Phellodendron amygdose). The pharmacological effectiveness of Amur velvet is due to the action of alkaloids, limonoids, phenolic acids, quinic acid, lignans and flavonoids, obacunone and obaculactone. Amur velvet has anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties; reduces itching, swelling and eliminates peeling.

Chinese coptis (Coptis chinensis) has antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and disinfecting effects.

Sesame oil contains poly- and monounsaturated fatty acids, phytosterols. They promote the healing and softening of the skin. The oil also creates an occlusive effect and reduces transdermal fluid loss by the skin. Bioactive peptides of Pheretima Aspergillum improve tissue nutrition, stimulate regeneration and have an anti-inflammatory effect.

Beeswax has a softening effect and reduces transepidermal water loss. It forms a film on the surface of the skin, acting as a protective barrier. β-carotene, present in beeswax, is a source of vitamin A, which slows down the degradation of collagen, stimulates mitotic division in the epidermis, which leads to faster regeneration of the skin after damage.

INDICATIONS FOR USE

Due to the presence of components with antibacterial, healing, antipruritic and anti-inflammatory effects, Trophicol has a wide range of indications.

1. Comprehensive treatment of wounds of any origin:

- minor wounds, abrasions, cuts;

- burns of various degrees (solar, chemical, thermal);

- surgical wounds, including after cosmetic manipulations: removal of moles, warts, laser resurfacing;

- chronic ulcers;

- bedsores;

- skin care around the stoma

- necrosis of soft tissues;

- chemotherapeutic phlebitis;

- herpes zoster.

2. Prevention of scarring. Improving the appearance of an existing scar.

3. Comprehensive treatment of dermatitis:

- atopic dermatitis;

- cold allergy;

- eczema; - diaper dermatitis of newborns;

- contact dermatitis;

- psoriasis.

METHOD OF APPLICATION AND PRECAUTIONS

The required amount of ointment, depending on the size of the skin defect, should be applied to the affected area 2-4 times a day. With longer use, the effectiveness of the product increases in direct proportion to the duration of use. Apply to pre-cleansed skin. The average duration of the course of application with daily use is at least four weeks.
