Composition

Each tablet contains:

• Ursodeoxycholic Acid — 50 mg or 100 mg
  Excipients according to manufacturer specification.

Pharmacological Action

URSO® improves hepatic, biliary, and digestive functions. Ursodeoxycholic acid reduces the toxicity of bile acids, enhances bile flow, protects liver cells, and promotes dissolution of cholesterol gallstones.

Indications

• Cholestatic liver diseases
• Primary biliary cirrhosis (without decompensation)
• Cholesterol gallstones
• Chronic hepatitis
• Fatty liver disease (steatosis, steatohepatitis)
• Biliary dyskinesia
• Bile reflux gastritis and esophagitis
• Drug-induced and toxic liver damage

Dosage and Administration

Dosage is determined individually depending on indication, body weight, and clinical condition. Tablets are taken orally, usually with or after meals.

Contraindications

• Acute inflammation of the gallbladder or bile ducts
• Decompensated liver cirrhosis
