Product description

Citicoline is a naturally occurring compound in the human body and an intermediate in the synthesis of phosphatidylcholine, the main structural phospholipid of brain cell membranes. By supporting phospholipid metabolism, citicoline helps stabilize neuronal membranes, supports the production of neurotransmitters (dopamine and acetylcholine) and improves cerebral blood flow. The substance has been studied in clinical practice for decades and is used in Europe, Asia and Latin America as part of stroke and cognitive therapy.

Ceraxon sachets by Ferrer contain citicoline in a convenient single-dose format: one sachet equals one dose of 1000 mg. The sachet form is convenient for travel and for patients who find it difficult to measure the solution from a bottle.

Dosage and administration

The usual dose is one sachet (1000 mg) once daily or as divided doses prescribed by a physician. The contents can be drunk directly or diluted in a small amount of water. The course is determined by the doctor.
