Description

Apnat (Apalutamide) is an advanced anti-androgen medication used in the treatment of prostate cancer.
It works by blocking the action of androgens (male hormones) that stimulate the growth of prostate cancer cells. Apalutamide helps slow the progression of the disease and improves overall survival in men with specific types of prostate cancer.

Active Ingredient

Apalutamide – 60 mg per tablet

Indications

• Non-metastatic Castration-Resistant Prostate Cancer (nmCRPC)
• Metastatic Castration-Sensitive Prostate Cancer (mCSPC)
  Used in combination with androgen deprivation therapy (ADT) or after surgical castration, as directed by an oncologist.

Dosage & Administration

• Recommended dose: 240 mg once daily (four 60 mg tablets)
• May be taken with or without food
• Swallow tablets whole with water
• Should be used under medical supervision and in combination with ADT

Mechanism of Action

Apalutamide selectively binds to androgen receptors and prevents their activation and nuclear translocation.
By blocking androgen receptor signaling, it inhibits cancer cell growth and induces apoptosis (programmed cell death).
