Description

Lederfolin® is a medicinal product containing calcium levofolinate, the biologically active form of folinic acid. It plays an essential role in DNA synthesis, cell division, and normal hematopoiesis.

Unlike folic acid, calcium levofolinate does not require metabolic activation and can be effectively utilized even in conditions associated with impaired folate metabolism.

Composition

Each tablet contains:

• Calcium levofolinate — 7.5 mg
  Excipients according to the manufacturer’s formulation.

Indications

Lederfolin® is indicated:

• for the treatment and prevention of folate deficiency;
• as part of combination therapy in conditions associated with folic acid metabolism disorders;
• as folinate rescue therapy in specific treatment protocols, as prescribed by a healthcare professional.

Dosage and Administration
