Isovorin® contains levofolinic acid (L-leucovorin), a biologically active form of folate. It plays a key role in DNA synthesis, cell division, and metabolic processes.
Unlike folic acid, levofolinic acid does not require metabolic activation, allowing for faster biological activity.
